Tracy L. Davidian, DDS, LVIF
Co-Founder and Board President of the Helene Foundation
Dentist/Owner of Sedation Dental Care & Raleigh Smile Center
As co-founder of the Helene Foundation, Tracy had a mission to create an organization that woudl support mothers and their families during their fight against cancer. She wanted to give those families a “circle” of support that assisted their daily lives, so that each mom could focus on the things that matter the most….spending valuable time and energy with their children.
Tracy is the mother of two boys and is married to Dan Davidian. They reside in Raleigh, where Tracy practices General and Sedation Dentistry.
Daniel K. Davidian, Sr. DDS
Co-Founder of the Helene Foundation
Dentist/Owner of Sedation Dental Care & Raleigh Smile Center
Dan is co-founder of the Helene Foundation. His desire to start the Foundation was motivated by his mother, Helene Davidian. Helene lost her battle with cancer in 2009. She is a beloved homemaker who continued to focus on her family, even during her fight. As Dan reflected on his mother’s life, he had a desire to help other mothers who are also struggling to maintain family normalcy while fighting cancer.
Dan is a father of two boys and is married to Tracy Davidian. They reside in Raleigh, North Carolina where Dan practices General and Sedation Dentistry.
Gregg Bowler, CPA, CMA
Gregg is a Certified Public Accountant as well as a Certified Management Accountant with over 20 years of professional experience. Gregg is the CFO of The Sunrock Group, headquartered in Raleigh. The Sunrock Group is a leading construction materials supplier in the region. Gregg is responsible for the Finance, IT, Sales and Contracting Division.
Gregg is a graduate of Villanova University. He and his wife, Ann, have three children.
Anna Baird Choi, JD
Anna Baird Choi is a Raleigh native is a attorney/partner with Allen, Pinnix and Nichols, P.A. In her professional life, Anna serves as counsel to the N.C. Licensing Board for General Contractors. She also advises the General Contractor’s Board and eight other licensing boards representing all matters including licensing, minimum qualifications, rulemaking, disciplinary actions and personnel issues. Additionally, Anna represents individuals and businesses before other N.C. licensing boards and agencies.
Anna also has an extensive background in leadership and public service. She has had a long volunteer career with the Junior League of Raleigh and currently serves as the State Parliamentarian for the N.C. Society Daughters of the American Revoluntion.
Anna is a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and Campbell Law School. She and her husband, Hunt, have two children.
Edward Davidian, DDS, MS
Rachel Greenup, MD
Andrea has been involved in the Helene Foundation as a volunteer with the Gala for 5 years. She is passionate about giving back to the community and as such has served in volunteer capacities including the Junior League of Raleigh Board of Directors as the Vice President of Training, Vice President of Funding and Chair of the Capital Campaign. She currently serves as the board’s At-Large Director. She also serves on the Meredith College Fund Advisory Board, Capital Campaign Steering Committee for Meredith College and is the immediate Past President of the Alumnae Board of Directors. In addition Andrea is a member of Duke University Hospital’s Shingeton Society, a volunteer group committed to raising monies to help find the cure for cancer. Andrea is a graduate of Meredith College where she received her degree in Business and Fashion Merchandising. Professionally, Andrea works for Charles Aris and runs their New Promoter Score program. Andrea is married to Neil Fox and they have two boys, Jackson (12) and Oakley (10). Her hobbies include cooking, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Kristi McKeown is employed by Millennium Pharmaceutical Incorporated as a Regional Sales Manager. Mrs. McKeown has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for thirteen years in areas of sales, marketing and medical education. Prior to working in the pharmaceutical industry, she was a counselor for cancer patients and their families at Duke Comprehensive Cancer Center and focused on providing psychosocial support and counseling to persons living with cancer.
Mrs. McKeown is a member of the Junior League of Raleigh, the Chair of the Community Cares Committee at Duke Schools, Co-owner of Burn Athletic Fitness Studio in Brier Creek as well as a certified cycling instructor. Mrs. McKeown has a BA degree in Social Research from the University of Hartford and a MA degree in Counseling from North Carolina Central University.
Kristi and her husband, Bob, have one son.
Teresa’s passion for giving back to the community is best illustrated by her 20 years of dedication to the WeBuildPeople Annual Campaign at the A.E. Finley YMCA. We at the Helene Foundation feel that the fundraising knowledge and expertise Teresa gained in those 20 years will play a crucial role in defining the future of the Helene Foundation. She resides in Raleigh, North Carolina with her husband, Lee, and children, Zachary and Ashley.
Beth Murgitroyd (BA University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, MA Speech-Language Pathology GWU) has been involved with the Helene Foundation since its earliest days. She was the recipient of a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship in 1997 to Edinburgh, Scotland; she then completed her training in speech-language pathology in Washington DC. She returned to Scotland to work for the National Health service treating patients with cancer, stroke, and neurologically-based communication and swallowing disorders. Beth and her family lived in Glasgow, Scotland until 2007, when they relocated to Raleigh North Carolina.
Since 2010 she has served as the Family Liaison Coordinator for the Foundation, in addition to her role as a Board member. Beth is a group leader and ambassador for the non-profit Triangle Aphasia Project, serves as the Worship Leader at All Saints United Methodist Church in Raleigh, and is chair of the Development Committee on the Board of Trustees at The Duke School in Durham, NC.
Beth and her husband, Ed, have two children.
