The Helene Foundation Gala
Don’t miss our annual Helene Foundation Gala. This exciting evening is our largest fundraising event of the year and we are counting on your attendance! Typically held the first Friday in May, we enjoy sparkling conversation, delicious food and an evening of entertainment.
Wild Bill 5K
Saturday, August 3rd, 2024 | 7am
In memory and honor of “Wild Bill” Sonner, a coach, mentor and community leader in Raleigh for decades. The 5K is hosted by Seven Oaks and Stonehenge HOA. The Helene Foundation receives a portion of the proceeds from this fabulous event!
Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament
Last year, the Helene Foundation was one of two beneficiaries of a new event to Raleigh, a Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament, put on by All-In to Fight Cancer. All-In is a Charlotte based non-profit that was founded by a group of friends to honor their friend Rob Eubanks, (a Wake Forest grad) after he passed away from Colon Cancer. He told them to do “something” after he was gone, but make it different and make it fun! Poker was one thing that the group could do with Rob as his health declined, so after he passed, they thought it was the perfect way to honor his legacy.
